Designing for visibility
The thread through every venture: build systems that make overlooked people, work and cultures visible — and verifiable.
Artists without a platform, merit without recognition, citizens without timely information, knowledge without a durable format: each venture answers one form of invisibility. The method is the same every time — define who needs to be seen, by whom, and what proof makes the seeing trustworthy.
Spatial minimalism
Nothing exists on screen unless it is load-bearing. Interfaces are designed like quiet rooms: one clear entry point, generous space, no decorative noise.
Every element must answer one question before it is added: if it were removed, would meaning, function or clarity be lost? The practice includes icon-only controls with accessible labels, pill-shaped bars instead of boxes inside boxes, and layouts that never shift while loading. This site is built on it.
The .bok format
A digital book format for systematic, self-contained publishing.
The .bok format treats a book as a structured, portable object rather than a stack of pages: one file holds every language edition, with room for an audio narration and AI-assisted summaries and translation, opened by four purpose-built tools (Reader, Editor, Creator, Library) rather than a generic app. A public technical specification is being prepared; until then this page describes the idea, not a standard.
Truthful personal AI
A personal AI guide should answer only from verified facts, cite them, and say plainly when it does not know.
The guide on this site is grounded in a single “truth file”. Every fact carries a source and a grade; unverified claims are never shown. The guide discloses that it is an AI, cites the page behind each statement, and routes anything it cannot answer to Kamiloo in person.
